Senior Business Development Manager

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow their client base which includes the likes of Channel 4, Tesco, Nestle & HSBC. The successful Business Development Manager is likely to have a consultative sales background and be used to working on long and complex sales cycles. The ideal Business Development Manager will also be used to winning new business with blue chip companies whilst dealing with multiple stakeholders across CSR, HR & marketing. About The Role:
• Write attractive proposals – strong written skills a must
• Present our attraction services to HR and CSR teams at FTSE 250 companies
• Create bespoke campaigns for each client with a value range from £10,000 to £250,000 +
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets
• Account manage your own portfolio of clients, upsell and re-secure bookings year on year
• Develop relationships with senior contacts over email, phone and, most importantly, face to face
• Attend pitches and negotiate comfortably and with confidence

The Ideal Candidate
• Excel at face to face meetings, presentations and pitches
• An ability to think creatively and craft engaging and exciting written documents
• Self-starter who does not rely heavily on management direction
• Able to operate at all levels from strategic business discussions at executive level to tactical discussion¬¬¬s within HR
• Maintain lasting relationships at a personal level with key clients
• Happy to work in an entrepreneurial environment
• Keep on top of the latest recruitment and marketing trends
