Preparing a CV

 

Preparing your CV and getting it right is Crucial

  • Ensure your CV is typed and contains no spelling mistakes
     
  • Avoid use of any gimmicks or fancy designs just to get noticed
     
  • Avoid Photocopy CV's make sure they are always a master copy
     
  • Always restrict it to a maximum of three sheets if possible, this does not mean that you leave things out, but it requires you to be brief and to the point
     
  • Always include a covering letter explaining which vacancy you are applying, for and why you should be considered for the Role

Taking into account all the relevant points, your CV represents you and it is your first impression.  A good CV will open the door to potential employers.
